First Baptist has a 14-year tradition we celebrate the second Sunday in January, marking the end of the Christmas season. This tradition is called “Breakfast with the Wisemen.” During this special service, the Christmas story is read and ends with the Wiseman brining gifts. There is special music. There is a demonstration of the Wisemen bringing gifts to Jesus at the home of Mary and Joseph. Those in attendance are treated to an all-you-can-eat breakfast buffet. This 30-minute program replaces our Sunday School class for the day and ends will wonderful fellowship around the breakfast table.
Below are images and video from this year’s “Breakfast with the Wisemen” service.
Here’s a short video of the Captivate teens singing “Wisemen,” as the Wisemen enter into the home of Mary and Joseph.
